SLManager- Web Application extensions ( RubyOnRails )

RubyonRails  is an open source web application framework for the Ruby programming language. It is intended to be used with an Agile Development Methodology which is used by web developers for rapid development.
The web application (SLManager) is based on RubyOnRails application development framework including MVC development pattern, and its database is MySQL.

The big functionality to implement is to add/manage sensors ( for each client ) in SLManager Database. This sensors then records the visitor information. Each client can include the visitor information to their website from SLManager using AJAX Functionality.

New Extensions:
Manage Sensors - The client can set information about sensors ( name, position, time, restrictions, etc) and share information about visitors information to the website client.
Statistics - The main aim it is each Sensor in Second Life would call a web page in SLManager that would be linked to Google Analytics. All these statistics would be delivered via Google Analytics.
Video QT Format - It is possible to get temporary download URLs from Youtube in order to download the video in QT Format. This new functionality will create these temporary URLs everytime user requests too see a video in SL.

This project will be developed for the subject Laboratório de Informática IV from Licenciatura em Informática at Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro.
